Danielle Whitehouse

Pre Kindergarden Teacher

Biography

As the Voluntary Pre-K teacher at Cathedral Parish School, Danielle Whitehouse feels wonderfully blessed to teach and serve our littlest Saints. Moving to Saint Augustine from Rhode Island when she was 10 and spending most of her formative years here in Saint Augustine qualifies her as a bit of a local. Danielle met her husband James in 1999 and they married on November 25, 2000.  By 2007 they had five cherubs of their own. During this time Danielle graduated from Flagler college with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a focus in Specific Learning Disabilities. She is certified by the state of Florida K-6 and by the Department of Children and Families to teach Voluntary Pre-K. James and Danielle are proud to share that all five children of their children have received great benefits from their experience at CPS. When asked in the spring of 2016 if she would be interested in teaching VPK at CPS, Danielle jumped at the chance to become part of such an amazing team of faith-filled teachers and staff.

Danielle believes strongly that to teach these little ones is a privilege and a joy and that the greatest blessing of all is that she can do so in environment where God’s love is evident in the prayers, stories and traditions of faith. She also finds being the first experience that many families have at CPS is a great honor as well and finds deep satisfaction in welcoming our newest families.
